Speedway Heaven at half past seven bows out with the 2017 Kent Laurels
We finish our 'virtual' season of action from the previous seven years of Speedway at Central Park Stadium on Tuesday (14th. September) - and the 'Speedway Heaven at half-seven' takes us this last time back to the end of the 2017 season, to the day an iconic trophy reappeared and was up for grabs to the winner of the longest-running individual open title in British Speedway: the Laurels for the WJ Cearns Trophy.
All the Kent Kings were in action, led by skipper Luke Bowen - and an all star set of visiting riders included his three predecessors as Kent skipper, Ben Morley, three times Laurels winner Simon Lambert and the holder, Stevie Boxall.
Could this be Bowen 747's moment in history? Find out exclusively on the Kent Speedway official website at 7.30pm on Tuesday - thanks to our media/broadcasting partners, Rerun Productions who have brought us this much-valued weekly dose of excitement to live-action starved Speedway fans. We plan to be back in March 2021 -for now though settle back and look to the Laurels 2017; Speedway Heaven at half-past seven!!
