Saturday Night is Alright For Fighting for the National League [NL] Play Offs as the Kent TouchTec Kings travel to the East Midlands to take on fierce rivals for those coveted top four berths, Leicester Lion Cubs.
It's been a tough week for the Lion Cubs who succumbed to a heavy defeat at Isle of Wight which saw the Ryde-based Warriors themselves enter the top four and then Belle Vue's drubbing of the club supplanted by the IOW, Cradley Heathens meant that the Manchester side overtook Leicester to go second behind Kent.
A win for Chris Hunt's charges (reversing as it would the home defeat they suffered to the Lion Cubs last month) would all but clinch the TouchTec-sponsored Kings' play off slot and they have in the side a new face and a new captain to boot, in the form of David Wallinger. Another debutant is Midlands-based Development League rider, James Chattin.
The action gets underway at the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena in Beaumont Park, Leicester at 7.30pm
