Kent Crayford Kestrels can win the SDL today with wins over the three opponents visiting the Iwade Training Track.
First opponents Exeter Falcons put the pressure on John Sampford's youngsters by a win on Saturday night at Arlington against Weymouth which moved the Devon side back to the top of the SDL table on 10 points with the Crayford Supporters Kestrels on 8 points.
Weymouth are the second up opponents today and make two changes from the side previously announced.
James Jessop comes in for Jordan Bull and Luke Barnes is replaced by a rider well known throughout Kentish Speedway, co-owner of the Lydd Training Track, Martyn Smith.
If Exeter are beaten, a win over bottom club Weymouth will be enough to take the title for the Kestrels but there's a third match on the packed racing programme too with Isle of Wight Wizards the final home opponent of the home season.
The action gets underway at Iwade st 1pm with news from trackside that the circuit is in excellent condition..
